That, and each ep was only what? Eight or so minutes long? That in and of itself doesn’t bode well for an adaptation most of the time… Unfortunately, after that, there was silence…aside from the occasional promotion of merchandise from the series or even promotions to watch the anime however, in comparison to the game something like the anime wasn’t something many, including myself, were willing to really get into and watch due to the possibility of being spoiled on certain plot points. It seemed like it was actually possible! It seemed like we’d all get a chance to play this great game, and meet all these wonderful characters that fans of the game adore! I heard so many great things about it, and when Spike Chunsoft included it as a localization possibility on their poll I felt really excited and happy. This isn’t something anyone has to bother themselves with reading, but if you’re interested then feel free!Īs an otome game lover, the possibility that Kenka Bancho Otome could have come out in English was something I felt excitement for, I’d heard how amazing the game was to those that had been lucky enough to play it in Japanese. It’s a situation we’re all pretty familiar with at this point, but I wanted to get my feelings put out in a more organized post rather than scattered tweets on Twitter. It’s been a long two years, and we’ve still heard nothing on the possibility of the game’s localization despite it winning the poll they’d created so long ago. Another day, another disappointment - of course, that’s how many otoge fans feel with Spike Chunsoft’s continued silence on Kenka Bancho Otome and I would have to agree with them.
